About Me

Originally from Canada, I am now celebrating my 26th year in Australia. I started my professional life as a trained actor, and a graduate of Canada’s most prestigious theatre school. Even though, I quickly rose through the ranks of the industry, my Father kept asking me; “When are you going to do something serious?” With that kind of pressure, and a little free time, I went on to complete my studies in Psych and Marketing and Communications , where I quickly established myself as an award winning PR, Marketing & Communications Strategist  in demand.

Upon my arrival in Australia, I felt like a ‘fish out of water’. Here I was living in Bondi, and I could not bring myself to go for a swim at the beach. Simply, the fear was overwhelming. Never one to back down from a challenge, I decided to join the world’s 1st and oldest Surf Club, Bondi SBLSC.  In addition to facing my fear of the ocean, I joined to meet people and find a community to belong to.  Not only did I make new, lifelong friendships, I became a highly commended Lifesaver, Instructor, Assessor and a recipient of the prestigious Lifesaver of the Year award (… twice actually).

Yes, all the pieces had now come together… Acting, Marketing, Business & Lifesaving!

Michael is the former Marketing & Communications Director of Two Tin Cans, and the former Managing Director of MGE.  Michael has demonstrated a creative and proven ability to reach goals for a wide range of clients.   His solid experience, fierce attention to detail and deep understanding of the “big picture” has given him the opportunity to hone a wide range of skills, strategies, intuition and sensibilities that add unique value to his projects and programs. He has executed a wide range of programs and projects, that have allowed him to lead inspired teams implement strategic systems and develop integrated and creative solutions to successfully reach predetermined goals for large brands and varied clients.  He seems to always be seeking opportunities where he can enthusiastically leverage his assets while continuing to expand his skill-set and draw from inspiration to produce innovative successful outcomes.
